I watched Notorious last night, and as much as I wanted to love this movie, I can only just like it. Some of the actors chosen to play people were laughable. The guy playing Puffy was totally off. Didn't look a thing like him, but he did do the Puffy dance pretty well, haha. Tupac's character kiiind of looked like him, but I think the guy from Weeds might have done a better job. Oh and another thing, I was a little disappointed that Mase wasn't mentioned in the movie at all, which is weird cause he hung out with the Bad Boy crew.

Andrea, Carly and I ate at this amazing Thai place the other night in Hollywood. After picking up some quality VHS' at Ameoba (Rock A Doodle, Talking Heads Videos) we wandered down Sunset where we spotted a Banksy piece! Right there on Sunset! I just had to stop and take pictures. The Thai place was called Toi, and right next to it was this great little shop called PopKiller, where I bought a shirt of the Rolling Stones tongue with a gold tooth.

By the way, I got a C in that Geography class! Looks like I won't have to relive the nightmare of remembering the conditions for off-shore winds or what orographic lifting is.

So I just finished a few applications for school. I'm trying to get into Columbia College Chicago, DePaul University, Eugene Lang College the New School of Liberal Arts in New York, and Loyola University of Chicago. I'm nervous, I'm excited, I'm scared, and I'm impatient all at once. I want to get into all of them and I want to go to each of them. Obviously, my preference would be living in New York, working the SoHo Apple Store, and attending Eugene Lang. I think Chicago or San Francisco could be fun 2nd place options as well, though. Ahh!!

For all my Mac user friends out there, I know you will appreciate this.

They are Apple dock application pillows! You can order the whole set of 6 for $149, or $29 each. I'm really considering getting the Finder pillow. It's just too amazing. You can get them at Throwboy.com

I think I might have gotten a D+ in Geography, which sucks because that was the only class I actually studied hard for (Science isn't always my thing so I tried to study more to fix that.) I realllly don't feel like taking this class over again, but I might need to.

Anyway, I got my new MacBook. It's a lot different working with them everyday, demoing and teaching all day, than it is to actually have one at home. So much music to download! I only hope I don't sit on this thing all day and all night. Also, I got a new camera.

On Friday I will be in the Boat Parade in Newport Bay! I've always wanted to be in one of those boats, for as long as I remember. I'll take pictures.

After being car-less for a few months, I bought a bike!

No, it's not a fixed gear. I like being able to coast.

All I've been doing lately is thinking of my future, of where it might take me, what kind of person I will be. I think Journalism will be a good fit for me. I should be interviewing that Ian guy about his organization (We are Sew Creative.) I think my plan will be to work in a newspaper after my degree (depending where I'm accepted. SF Chronicle if I go to USF, or New York Times if I get into Eugene Lang.) for a few years then possibly become a teacher. And travel extensively.

I’ve been meeting some cool people lately.
I was selling an iPhone to this guy yesterday who is starting his own non-profit artist co-op kind of thing. It’s called We Are Sew Creative. We got to talking and I might intern for him in about a month or two. Could be cool.

Another one was earlier today at the Closet on my lunch break. He was djing in there and mentioned that he does it weekly at Avalon and could possibly get Tony and I in there one night.

And just now some guys buying a bluetooth for their iPhones. They dj and produce electro/house music. We're going to work together and I'm going to learn how to remix. Sweet!

After precinct walking and poll watching yesterday, Andrea and I made a pact not to look at any results until we got home. After returning to the Democratic Party of Orange County offices, we raced home just as polls closed in California, ignoring phone calls, a storm of texts and peoples shouting. We wove through traffic to race home. Once we got here, we ran inside and turned on the tv. History was being made. Yes we can and yes we did.

We raced over to Sutra Lounge for the Democratic Victory party and I drank the best Grey Goose everrrrrrrr. Plus, I met Weeman from Jackass on the way out, apparently they wouldn't let him in. I'll upload a picture tonight

Oh yeah.

Justice was ok, slightly annoying.

But Boys Noize killed it.

And DJ AM fooled me into thinking he was Thomas from Daft Punk! He was still phenomenal though.

I can't stress the importance enough. VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!

You've got two major choices. One of the candidates is the American Dream. From living off food stamps at one point to attending Columbia and Harvard, graduating Magna Cum Laude and teaching Constitutional Law as well as directing a non-profit community organization, Obama is living example that the American Dream is alive and well. If you try hard enough, you can come from nothing into something great.

The other candidate, John McCain graduated from the United States Naval Academy ranked 894 of 899, cheated on his first wife after a terrible car crash, married Cindy a month after his divorce and has been in the Senate for over 20 years and has voted 90% with President Bush.

The choice is yours, make it wise.
